Abstract
We investigate several meson-exchange potentials the parameters of which are fixed to describe nucleon-nucleon phase shifts, and we find some variations in their predictions of NN¯ observables which should not be present, as we discuss. We find that most data can be roughly reproduced with only one or two free parameters in very simple annihilation models. Keywords
