Radiative lifetimes of the low-lying levels of Na-like copper

Abstract

Radiative lifetimes (and $f$ values) have been measured for the $n=3\mathrm{}$ levels of the sodiumlike ion, ${\mathrm{Cu}}^{18+}$, using the beam-foil method. Strong cascade tails attributable to the decay of long-lived Rydberg or "yrast" levels were observed.
