Abstract
A new factor of the vit.-B complex is necessary for normal development of the pelt of rats. Lack of this substance causes black hair to turn gray and white hair, brownish. It is present in brewers'' yeast and is relatively less heat-stable than the other known factors of the heat-stable fraction, lactoflavin, B6, and nicotinic acid amide. It is probably not identical with the "filtrate factor".This publication has 5 references indexed in Scilit:
