Abstract
Absolute ionisation cross sections for electrons incident on CO2+ ions have been measured at electron energies from threshold up to 830eV. The measurements have been performed with crossed electron and ion beams. By extrapolation of the cross section a threshold energy of (23.8+or-0.5)eV is determined. The cross section maximum is nearly 4*10-17 cm2 at an electron energy of about 150eV.Keywords
