Abstract
Tables showing the lethal dosage for normal and adrenalectomized albino rats to KCN, nicotine, acetonitril, and histam-ine are given. Two or 3 weeks following adrenalec-tomy, the rats were more sensitive to the toxic actions of these substances, especially to acetonitril and nicotine. The hypersensitiveness to nicotine disappeared in 68 days, and was diminished for KCN in 52 days after extirpation. This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
