Abstract
A relatively simple method is described which permits the identification of abnormalities of either polypeptide chain of hemoglobin. The procedure is based on the dissociation of hemoglobin by 6 molar urea and starch-gel electrophoresis in a barbital buffer at pH 8.0.Keywords
