Abstract
The nonleptonic decay modes of the intermediate vector meson are discussed using symmetry. The decay rates into two pseudoscalar mesons and two baryons are calculated, estimating the effects of the strong interactions. It is found that for a mass of 2.5 and 3.0 BeV the baryon decay rate is comparable to the leptonic decay rate whereas the meson decays are negligible.
