Abstract
In both immature male and female rats, extracts of L. ruderale injd. subcut. caused impaired development of the gonads and secondary sex organs. An inhibitory effect was also noted on the thyroid glands. In adult males it caused atrophy of the testes, seminal vesicles, prostate and thyroid. The activity of the lyophilized water extracts decreased with time. Keywords
