Abstract
This communication deals with the effects produced by digitoxin on the metabolism of the dog's ventricles as indicated by changes in labile and inorganic phosphates, lactate, glycogen, potassium and sodium content of the myocardium immediately frozen after excision. The results suggest increased turnover of high energy phosphate and glycogen by nontoxic doses. Keywords
