DEAMINATION OF DL-ALANINE IN THE ADRENALECTOMIZED RAT

Abstract

In adrenalectomized, functionally nephrectomized rats, the rate of disappearance of intraven. injected dl-alanine and the extent of the consequent urea formation are the same as found for non-adrenalectomized controls. The condition of the salt-maintained adrenalectomized animals used in this and previous work is further defined.
