Abstract
Chloride is absorbed against a conc. gradient from a soln. containing approx. one-half isotonic NaCl and one-half isotonic Na2SO4 placed in the small intestines of white albino rats and of rabbits. Blood-gut chloride conc. ratios reached are much lower than those reported for dogs under comparable conditions.This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
