Abstract
Dr. Frederic C. Bartter: The fascination presented by the problem of cystinuria is apparent when one considers that it is being studied in three of the National Institutes of Health, namely, National Institute of Arthritis and Metabolic Diseases, National Cancer Institute, and National Heart Institute. This represents a symposium in which the studies from each of the Institutes will be briefly summarized. To illustrate the point of departure from which all three groups have begun their studies, it is appropriate to review briefly the history of cystinuria. We shall then present a patient who has made contributions to the studiesThis publication has 25 references indexed in Scilit:
