Optical bistability using a nematic liquid crystal film in a Fabry-Perot cavity

Abstract
We have observed optical bistability in a Fabry-Perot cavity with a nematic liquid crystal film. Switching phenomenon was observed with a low power single-mode cw laser of about 300 mW.Keywords
