Photoproduction of Single Spin-OneWBosons at High Energies

Abstract

The production of single $W$ bosons by high-energy photons via the reaction $\gamma +p\to n+W$ is analyzed using a model previously applied to the muon reaction $\mu +p\to \mu +n+W$. Results are given for total cross sections and angular and energy distributions for a variety of $W$- boson masses.
