Abstract
On the basis of its action on a number of conjugated hexuronic acids and other compounds, it was concluded that mouse-liver glucuronidase is specific for beta-glucopyranuronides, including beta-D-glucopyranuronic acid-1-phosphate. Derivatives of l-menthol caused slight activation of glucuronidase. Mouse-liver prepns. did not catalyse the condensation of o-aminophenol with alpha- or beta-glucuronic acid-1-phosphate.Keywords
