Abstract
The average charge of daughter atoms following nuclear transformation has been measured for several active species. The positive ion current of the decay products was observed in the gas of the parent at low pressure and compared with the disintegration rate of the active nuclide. The average charges found in the several transitions studied appear in the following table:Keywords
