Abstract
Platelet depletion after bleeding in rats is followed by an increase to approximately 150% on the 4th day, decreasing to normal in about 8 to 10 days. Temporary increase in the number of megakaryocytes is associated with increased stimulation of cell development and maturation. Keywords
