Abstract
The increased frequency of HL-A-B8 in Sjogren''s syndrome (Ss) was recently reported. The association of HL-A-B8 antigen with other diseases, characterized generally by impaired immunologic reactivity, was previously shown, and in some of these diseases MLC [mixed lymphocyte culture] typing revealed the strong association with the Dw3 determinant. The degree of association with each of the 2, B8 and Dw3, varied between different diseases. In this communication, the typing of HL-A-Dw3 in 29 patients with Ss was described. This publication has 10 references indexed in Scilit:
