Abstract
In a method of biological assay of hyaluronidase use is made of the early spreading activity of highly diluted hyaluronidase prepn. in the skin of freshly killed guinea pigs, and the activity compared with that of a standard prepn. When 12 animals per assay and a properly randomized arrangement of the injns. were employed, the estimates of potency had fiducial limits (P <0.05) ranging from [plus or minus] 16% to [plus or minus] 32%.Keywords
