Abstract
Differential scattering cross sections for 5.10±0.10-Mev protons by helium have been determined at laboratory angles from 30° to 150°. Probable errors in the cross sections varied from 2.4 percent at 30° to 4.1 percent at 150°. The scattered protons were detected by a proportional counter. The apparatus was calibrated by a study of proton-proton scattering. Keywords
