Radio-Frequency Zeeman Effect inO2

Abstract
The molecular-beam magnetic resonance method has been used to study the Zeeman effect of the rotational states of O2. The ratio of the g-value of the rotational magnetic moment to that of the electron-spin moment was found to be gKgS=+(6.08±0.74)×105. The ratio of the g-value of the unpaired-electron spin moments in O2 to that of the free-electron spin moment was found to be gS(O2)gs(free)=1(190±13)×106.
