Abstract
The per-atom Coulomb capture ratio of negative muons in the solid solution Nb-V has been measured for five stoichiometric ratios ranging from 0.046 to 18.5. No change of with was observed. The weighted mean is 1.21±0.04. There is also no experimental evidence for a variation of the muonic-Lyman-series intensity patterns of both elements with .
