The 1.25-MinuteRb82mDaughter of 27-DaySr82

Abstract
The 3.15-Mev positron associated with the decay of the 27-day Sr82 has been found to arise from the decay of a 1.25-minute metastable Rb82 isomer by an allowed transition to the Kr82 ground state. No isomeric transition to the 6.3-hour Rb82 ground state was observed. A tentative decay scheme and spin and parity assignments are discussed.
