Variations in Sensitivity to Anaphylaxis and to Histamine in Inbred Strains of Mice.

Abstract
Based on work involving the use of 5 inbred strains, evidence is presented which indicates a genetic variation in the ability of sensitized mice to respond to an intraven. injn. of egg white by anaphylaxis; and of normal mice to respond to histamine. This ability was not found to be positively correlated with the amt. of circulating antibody, and an unequivocal correlation with histamine sensitivity was not apparent.
