Abstract
For the growing dog 200 [gamma] of riboflavin per 100 g. of ration was a minimal level, and 400 [gamma] per 100 g. of ration satisfied the requirement. Blood urea N, non-protein N, uric acid and Hb were not affected by riboflavin deficiency; a de-crease of 27% in blood riboflavin was observed in acute stages of the deficiency. In deficient dogs the avg. daily urinary excretion of riboflavin was markedly reduced and the ability to retain test doses was greatly increased. This publication has 6 references indexed in Scilit:
