Abstract
Jensen''s antigen-A from a Staphylococcus aureus strain, type Cowan-I, was purified by gel filtration and electrophoresis. A 100-fold purification was obtained with an average yield of 25%. The fraction was called A-1. In addition, 4 other antigenic fractions (A-2, A-3, B and C) were isolated. Keywords
