Abstract
The probability of tunneling of the magnetization in a single-domain particle through an energy barrier between easy directions is calculated for several forms of magnetic anisotropy. Estimated tunneling rates prove to be large enough for observation of the effect with the use of existing experimental techniques. Keywords
