Abstract
A compact sectoral antenna is presented in this paper which has linearly polarized broadside radiation pattern in the first three resonant frequencies which lie in the sub-6 GHz 5G communication band (3.3 GHz-3.6 GHz), ISM 5.2 GHz and WiMAX 5.8 GHz bands. The two higher order modes can be combined to realize a wideband response as well by changing the antenna parameters. This results in a dual-band antenna where the first frequency band lies in the sub-6 GHz 5G band and the other covers the WLAN 5.5 GHz and WiMAX 5.8 GHz band. Keywords
