Feminizing Adrenocortical Carcinoma with Hypertension

Abstract
A case report is presented describing a male who had hypertension associated with a feminizing adrenocortical carcinoma. A marked elevation in the secretory rate of DOC was observed which suggests that an 11β-hydroxylation block in this syndrome is causally related to the hypertension. The long survival of over 6 yr and the results of treatment with o,p'-DDD are discussed.
