Effect of uniaxial stress on the longitudinal magnetophonon oscillations innInSb

Abstract
The stress dependence of the longitudinal magnetophonon effect was investigated at 77 K in n-type InSb. Uniaxial compressive stresses were applied along the [110], [111], and [211] crystallographic directions. The [110] and [111] data, along with the previously measured stress dependence of the transverse magnetophonon effect, enabled values of the hydrostatic (a+C1) and the two shear (b and d) deformation potentials to be unambiguously determined.
