W+-Meson Production

Abstract

The production cross section for weakly interacting $W^{+}$ mesons is calculated for the semiweak production process $\gamma +p\to n+W^{+}$. The $W^{+}$ is assumed to have a magnetic and $T$-violating electric dipole moment, and the cross section is discussed as a function of these parameters for various possible values of the boson mass.
