TWO CASES OF »HYPOPLASIA« OF THE OVARIES

Abstract
Two patients suffering from primary amenorrhoea were described. Both patients showed the following hormonal abnormalities: the presence of estrogenic characteristics, no increase in follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) excretion, normal feminine hair growth, and normal body height. An ovarian biopsy of one patient revealed only stroma tissue while the second patient had some follicle elements.
