Abstract
A model is constructed for low-energy reactions in accordance with dispersion theory by neglecting faraway singularities. Thus, besides the Born terms due to one-nucleon intermediate state and exchange, we also employ the exchange and a resonance in the final state similar to that found in the reaction . A fairly good fit with recently measured data is obtained. [R. L. Anderson et al., Phys. Rev. Letters 9, 131 1962.] The choice of parameters is briefly discussed.
