Abstract
Tracer quantities of corticoaterone-4-C14 were incubated with human adrenal slices. After extensive chromatographic purification, C14 labelled aldosterone was isolated from the incubation media. This demonstrated directly that corticosterone can be a precursor for aldosterone biosynthesis. Keywords
