Abstract
In short-term expts., large doses of desoxycorticosterone acetate (D.C.A.) cause marked thymus atrophy. Thus it appears that this effect is not the exclusive characteristic of the glucocorticoids and, furthermore, that the nonspecific damage of D.C.A. has not been operative since the result was obtained in adrenalectomized rats. Keywords
