Abstract
A submicrosecond flash lamp with a megalumen output has been developed for calibrating scintillation detectors in the field. When operating at 6 kV, a 50‐nsec pulse is produced with jitter less than 10 nsec. The output is centered about 3600 Å and is 1000 Å wide. Keywords
