Abstract
18 normal individuals and 19 schizophrenic patients were treated with daily dosages representing 450 grains of cortical substance. In 1 case treatment lasted 2 weeks, in another, 4 weeks. 18% of normals and 79% of schizophrenics showed a pressor reaction. The mean rises of systolic pressure in the normals in the 2 series were 2.6mm., 0mm. The mean rises of systolic pressure in schizophrenics were 17mm., 13.6mm.This publication has 5 references indexed in Scilit:
