INTRACRANIAL ARTERIOVENOUS MALFORMATION AND ARTERIAL ANEURYSM IN THE SAME PATIENT

Abstract
In a series of approximately 150 patients with arteriovenous malformations, 8 patients also had a single arterial aneurysm, and 5 patients had multiple arterial aneurysms. The frequency of arterial aneurysm is greater than in unselected series of autopsies; this suggests a connection between the 2 types of lesion.
