Abstract
Isolates of Pseudomonas rubescens n. sp. were obtained from soluble oil emulsions used in factories in England, Canada and the United States. The organism is a pink, Gram-negative, asporogenic rod motile by a single polar flagellum. It oxidizes soluble oils. Morphological, biochemical and physiological characteristics are described.Keywords
