Abstract
✓ A new syndrome of carotid occlusion following a minor head injury not obviously involving the neck is reported in two patients. The characteristic delayed onset of unilateral motor, sensory, and visual defects in the relatively young patient is discussed. The authors have also hypothesized a mechanism for carotid occlusion produced by minor head injuries. Keywords
