Abstract
The paths of particles passing through crossed fields are calculated, with special application to the case where the particle does not complete a cycloidal oscillation. The use of such crossed fields in velocity selectors for space flight and in the laboratory is discussed. Curves are given which help in the choice of parameters for such applications. Keywords
