Estimation of Bilirubin in Serum

Abstract
The serum is treated with diazo reagent and a mixture of caffeine Na benzoate and phosphate buffer; azobilirubin is formed rapidly and it is measured in a photo-electric colorimeter. Observations are made on the factors required to bring about satisfactory coupling of bilirubin and diazo soln.Keywords
