Abstract
Transition probabilities have been calculated for magnetic-dipole transitions excited by inelastic scattering of electrons of and . The form factors are found to be quite insensitive to the degree of spin-orbit coupling. The harmonic-oscillator length parameters determined from fitting experimental form factors tend to be larger than those determined from charge scattering.
