Abstract
The conditions affecting the reaction between sulphanilamide and p-dimethyl-aminobenzaldehyde in acid soln. were studied. A simple and rapid colorimetric estimation of sulphanilamide and its derivatives in blood based on this reaction was developed. The compound responsible for the color was identified as p - dimethylaminobenzylidene-p-aminobenzenesulphonamide.This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
