Abstract
We study the behavior of a finite classical system in the instability region. The equation of state of such a system resembles that of nuclear matter. Through a study of mass distributions, scaled factorial moments, and anomalous fractal dimensions, we provide evidence of the presence of critical behavior of our system. Such behavior can be understood by use of the droplet model of the liquid-gas phase transition. Keywords
