Abstract
Hereditary Functional Abnormalities of the KidneyIn contrast to the situation encountered with hereditary diffuse nephropathies, several of the hereditary functional abnormalities are relatively well understood, and their clinical features are widely known. In great measure this is so because abnormalities of renal function can be studied by quantitative technics and physiologic experiments have yielded much information. Indeed, as technical capabilities increase, understanding of the mechanisms involved in this group of hereditary renal diseases grows steadily. For the purposes of this discussion the functional renal disorders have been grouped arbitrarily according to the site in the renal tubule of the . . .Keywords
