Abstract
The bactericidal action of oleic acid on Mycobacterium avium (Takeo strain) was quantitatively studied using Tween-agar medium. This action is prevented by Tween-80, Triton-A-20, saponin, lecithin, cholesterol, charcoal and starch. Glucose, glycerol, succinate, malate, glutamate, aspartate, biotin and coenzyme-A prevent it to a small extent. Keywords
