Abstract
Two patients with aneurysmal dilatation of the aortic sinuses (of Valsalva) and coarctation of the aorta are compared with 6 previously reported cases. It appears that while coarctation of the aorta can readily be recognized clinically and roentgenographically, the diagnosis of the aortic sinus aneurysm is subtler and requires contrast study of the aorta, especially angiocardiography.
