Abstract
Photoelectron spectra have been recorded for vacuum-cleaved alpha -MoTe2 crystals for a range of excitation energies. The different spectral dependences of the photoionization cross sections for p and d states allow the form of the partial p- and d-state densities to be determined. Keywords
