Resistive Behavior of DilutePdFeAlloys about the Curie Temperature

Abstract
We have analyzed the behavior of the magnetic part of the electrical resistivity ρm for four dilute samples of PdFe(0.1,0.25,0.50, and 1.0 at.%ofFe) in the vicinity of the Curie temperature. The ferromagnetic critical temperature for these samples was determined by the location of the maximum in dρmdT and was found to vary with concentration as cn, with n=1.65±0.05. The "singularity" of dρmdT was found to be much stronger than logarithmic with the exponents varying over a wide range of values. Also, we find that particularly in one sample, Pd0.995Fe0.005, the long-range nature of the short-range spin fluctuations plays a significant role in determining the behavior of dρmdT.
